At Vision Care Centre our Optometrists are checking more than just your glasses prescription. Your eyes are a window into which we can detect eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, as well as health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and many others.
In children, more emphasis is placed on ensuring both eyes are working together and that undetected vision issues do not affect learning and development, including school performance.
Our doctors are here to make sure your eyes are healthy, offer you tailored advice about your eye care needs and to refer you to an Ophthalmologist for any eye conditions you may have.
Eye Exams for the below patients are covered by OHIP on an annual basis. Your Canadian health card must be presented prior to your exam.
- Children aged 1-19 (inclusive)
- Seniors 65 years of age and older
